What if you are no longer in the business? How will I be taken care of?
We work as a team here at PPAG, so you will most likely be introduced to another team member during our working relationship and you can reach out to that team member if you need support. Alternatively, you can always contact our office at (604) 998-8876 or info@ppagroup.ca and our friendly receptionist will be happy to assist you!
What is the difference between you and a financial advisor from the bank?
PPAG advisors are passionate about helping our clients build wealth through unbiased advice. We are all independent advisors who also own our own business and have access to multiple products and services from insurance and investment companies we are contracted with. We are avid learners who continue to upgrade our knowledge and work as a team to provide unparalleled advice and services. We work for our clients, not the institutions, and we all own the services we provide, which shows how much we believe in it!
How is my information being kept with you? Are they secure?
We store your information digitally on a secured and encrypted cloud platform that is password protected. All your information is confidential and will not be shared unless with your permission.
How are you meeting your clients now? Virtual or in person?
We can do both! We leave it up to you to decide which type of meeting works best for you. If you want to save the commute and meet with us on the comfort of your couch, we can do that. If you want to come in to experience our beautiful office, we will serve you with complimentary beverages, we can do that as well!
Do you guys help with tax filing services?
We can assist you with preparing documents for tax filing and refer you to our affiliated accounting firm, which will take better care of your tax filing needs.
How often do we meet for a review session during the year?
We would want to meet with you at least once a year to discuss your finances. During the year, we will also schedule check-in calls with you either every 6 months or every 3 months, depending on your service needs.
How do you get paid?
We get paid in 3 ways. First, when you implement our recommendations, we get paid a commission directly from the insurance companies we work with. Second, we are paid small annual service fees to maintain and upkeep your account. Should you wish to update your address, banking information, beneficiaries, or request any service calls, there are no additional charges to you. Lastly, we expand our businesses through kind introductions from our clients. If you feel we have done a great job, please, do not keep us a secret and feel free to introduce us to your friends, family and colleagues so we can help more people with their finances. We do not charge a fee directly from you at any time as we feel 100% of your money should be invested for your future.
How will our relationship work?
We expect open communication with the mutual interest of improving your finances. If at any time you have any concerns or questions, please reach out to us immediately. We will do the same as well.
